As a counselor, I work to provide individuals with the skills and understanding to heal from their negative life experiences and work toward living their best. I do research in low-dimensional topology, exploring what knots and surfaces can tell us about the strange world of 4-dimensional topology. In Fall 2023 I'll be teaching two sections of Math 27: Linear Algebra-I've also recently taught Math 20: Mathematics and Social Justice (Spring 2022), Math 27: Linear Algebra (Fall 2021, Fall 2022), Math 67: Introduction to Modern Algebra (Spring 2023 x 2), Math 69: Combinatorics (Fall 2022), and a 4-student directed reading in knot theory (Spring 2023). She is best known for playing Michelle Benjamin on the NBC series Kings. There are endless opportunities for adventures and fun, so it is difficult to condense it all down! My favorite activities right now are taking my puppy, Maggie, to the many different dog parks and watching her outrun all her puppy friends, trying the endless delicious restaurants, golfing the many beautiful courses, being herded around the Capitol like cows during the farmer’s market and ending with a spicy cheesy bread.I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Swarthmore College. Allison Miller (born September 2, 1985) is an Italian born-American actress. Madison is truly the best city to live and work. It is safe to say that I am a “Badger Lifer” and I would not want it any other way! What are some of your favorite activities to do in the Madison area? Madison has been my home for so many years now and I was very hopeful to continue my time here. Allison has been the lead trial lawyer in partnership disputes, business divorce cases as well as self-dealing, fraud, breach of contract, and contract. I knew that I wanted to train in a place that fosters such a family feel all the while having fun and pushing one another to achieve their best potentials. I could not be more honest when saying that I have never experienced such exemplary mentorship than I had within this department. When it came to the faculty, it was clear that they truly cared about the wellbeing and the success of their resident learners and went above and beyond in getting to know their mentees. ![]() The residents were amazing and you could clearly see how close they were to one another. When looking at programs, I knew I wanted a program that felt like a family to me and Madison offered just that.
